Three Chopt Sandwich Shoppe will be hosting its second annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henderson County on Sunday, October 7 from 8-12. Matt Rogers, owner of Three Chopt, originated the idea for this event last year, and is excited to sponsor it again.
Guests will enjoy a delicious spread, which includes pancakes (regular, gluten-free, and blueberry), as well as home fries, bacon, and fresh fruit. Three Chopt is located at 103 3rd Ave. E, Hendersonville. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Everyone is welcome at this event, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at bbbswnc.org or by calling the Big Brothers Big Sisters office at 828-693-8153.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the mentoring services of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henderson County, which serves nearly 100 children each year. Research has shown these programs have helped kids improve their lives. Compared with non-mentored peers, children in Big Brothers Big Sisters programs are 46% less likely to begin illegal drug use, and 52% less likely to skip school. The programs allow for growth in confidence, peer relationships, and scholastic aptitude. These are just a few examples of how mentoring helps kids realize their potential.
So help Start Something BIG today! Put your money where your mouth is and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, prepared by a local restaurant, all to benefit children in the Henderson County community. This event is expected to sell out fast, so be sure to purchase your tickets now. Don’t miss out on this yummy breakfast with benefit.
