How to stay informed with LPC Closings and Delays
We post Lelia Patterson Center closings and opening delays through WLOS first.
WLOS.COM Instructions, please follow:
- Select the three bar menu on the top left
- Select WEATHER
- Select Closings and Delays
- Scroll down and Select “Mobile App Users tap here to see the full list of school closings” (at the bottom of the page)
- Scroll until you locate Lelia Patterson Center information
WLOS Mobile App Instructions, please follow:
- Locate EXPLORE (at the bottom of the screen)
- Scroll to WEATHER
- Select Closings and Delays
- Scroll down and Select “Mobile App Users, tap here to see the full list of school closings”
- Scroll until you locate Lelia Patterson Center information.
We also strongly recommend that you Call 828.209.6900 before venturing out to the LPC. If there is no answer, please do not travel to the Fitness and Aquatic Center until you hear from a member services associate on that day. A recording during inclement weather means we are assisting members and cannot answer, or that the facility is Closed. Please also pay special attention to signs and information posted throughout the facility.
